Conor McGregor Accused Of Trash Talking To ‘Stay Relevant’

Conor McGregor remains one of the most well known MMA fighters in the history of combat sports and his accolades over the years speak for themselves. The Notorious is also known to trash talk often, with varied results.

While Conor McGregor has backed up his trash talks in the past, more often than not, they have also resulted in embarrassing defeats for him. McGregor also doesn’t hold any title in the UFC.

UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman and Conor McGregor certainly have beef with one another and it has been well documented. McGregor previously called out Usman for copying his moves and words and also called him a ‘juice head.’

While speaking on an Instagram Live Q&A session, Kamaru Usman talked about Conor McGregor constantly talking trash. Ushman claimed that McGregor talks trash so that he can stay relevant.

“McGregor keeps talking because this is how he stays relevant. He says something to someone who’s at the top. And once we respond, it keeps him relevant. It’s a smart thing to do. Like me responding to him, what did that do?”

Everyone’s posting it, reposting it. That’s what he does. And we all know what he does, but it is what it is. We’ll leave it at that.”

Conor McGregor is already making a recovery in rapid fashion. We will have to wait and see what shape Conor McGregor will be in once he returns to the Octagon as McGregor is expected to be out of action for a year. A fight between Usman and McGregor would certainly be a great one.
