LeBron James is straight up not having a good time. Recently, a survey between NBA scouts and executives revealed that James didn’t even get a single vote for being the greatest of all time. James has been preparing for the Lakers to comeback stronger in the next season after they faced defeat in the last NBA playoffs.
James’ capabilities as a player have been criticized by the likes of Charles Barkley. It seems Celtics legends and former Finals MVP Paul Pierce had some things to say against James as well. Pierce told Basketball Forever:
If they don’t win this year, it’s gonna be a big hit on LeBron’s legacy. He’s not top-5 all-time if Lakers don’t win. Let alone lose in the first round. No more ‘G.O.A.T’ talk anymore.
LeBron James is no stranger to continuous criticism. He’s still, without a doubt, a great basketball player. He’s had to prove to disrespectful fans that he has real talent several times in his career.
James is already back on the grind to train hard with the Lakers in order to compete in the upcoming season. The Lakers are under a lot of pressure, as Anthony Davis also stands healthy along with them. There is no room for any mistakes now, and the Lakers feel the full weight of that fact.
