Kanye West has been hard at work on Donda, whenever he plans on releasing the record. We’ll have to see if he keeps the promise that his management made about the new record’s release date. In the process, rumors of West harboring a “toxic” work environment while creating Donda have also surfaced. Drake is paying attention to Ye, and their beef is far from finished.
Drake is going to keep stirring the pot with Kanye, and he’s not shy about it at all. The rapper is featured on a new Trippie Red track, “Betrayal,” and he took that chance to shade Ye a bit.
Drizzy called Kanye “burned out” within the lyrics of his verse in that new song. The beef has not died down at all between the two. In fact, it seems to only have escalated at this point.
“All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know // Forty-five, forty-four (Burned out), let it go // Ye ain’t changin’ sh*t for me, it’s set in stone.” […] “Rollin’ stones, heavy stones (PinkGrillz) // Precious stone, let me make my presence known.”
Kanye West is 44-years-old, so that should remove any doubt that Drake was talking about Ye, even if he said “you” instead or “Ye,” because there is some debate.
It’s unknown exactly why Drizzy is still shading Kanye in this way, but things seem to be far from finished between the two as this old beef now has a new chapter. You can check out the song below to take a listen for yourself.
