William Petersen became the second star in recent times to have been rushed to a hospital after they fell ill while shooting. Petersen is a longtime part of the CSI series, and his ill-health on set means bad things for the series.
Petersen was shooting with the team of CSI: Las Vegas on Friday. As he started feeling terrible, he told the director that he needed some time to gather his thoughts.
The director suspected that William is trying to shake off just more than fatigue and nervousness. An ambulance was called for the actor after he revealed that he was feeling ill.
The actor was taken to a nearby medical facility purely out of caution, but the call was probably worth it. A while ago, Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad star Bob Odenkirk was taken to the hospital after suffering a heart-attack while shooting for the show.
Willaim’s spokesperson revealed that the actor had been on the job for more than 12 weeks non-stop. His ill-health is likely caused by over-exertion, and he’s already been released from the hospital, so there’s no cause for worry.
