Steph Curry’s Parents To Get Divorced

Steph Curry is a huge NBA star. The Golden State Warriors’ player has always had his parents in the audience cheering for him whenever he’s needed them. It seems that will come to an end as the couple decides to part ways.

Sonya and Dell Curry have always supported both of their sons Seth & Steph in their endeavors. According to a report by TMZ, Sonya filed for divorce back in June, 2021. The couple got married in 1988 and had been together since then.

Sonya & Dell’s relationship had no indications of weakening. The news of the divorce-filing comes as a surprise to both Curry’s fans and to their loved ones. TMZ adds that the reasons behind the filing for divorce are unclear, and they’re yet to be reported.

Steph Curry has to come to terms with this unfortunate event eventually. Earlier this month, we reported that Curry is perhaps to get a contract extension with The Warriors. The point-guard was also nicknamed ‘LeBron James’ dad’ as a way to mock James.

The divorce of Curry’s parents is a relatively new affair. With no clear indication of what the future entails for them, nobody knows their current status for sure. With many questions unanswered, stay tuned for more.
