DaBaby has been getting cancelled for weeks now. After the rapper made homophobic comments, he’s been getting a lot of criticisms for it. The rapper is essentially cancelled, with the exception of 50 Cent backing him up and believing that he’ll come out okay.
The rapper is facing the consequences of actions he committed, as some might say. However, the rapper has now been removed from the credits of one of the songs he worked on.
DaBaby worked with popstar Dua Lipa on the track “Levitating.” The track has been levitating on the charts for several weeks now, still holding onto the No. 6 position of the Billboard Hot 100. However, DaBaby’s no longer credited on the collaboration on the board.
Dua Lipa or Billboard, it’s yet unclear which party made the move to remove the credits from the charts. That doesn’t stop the rapper from retaliating, who called people who criticized his Rolling Loud Performance “crybabies.“
He also received support from the likes of Miley Cyrus and Nick Cannon. That didn’t mean that celebs such as Azealia Banks, Lil Wayne and Megan Thee Stallion didn’t speak out against him. Deleting his apology tweet didn’t help his case either, so DaBaby would have to figure out his next moves pretty soon.
