Nikki Bella Reveals Why She Missed John Cena’s WWE SummerSlam Match

Nikki Bella, along with her twin sister Brie, have been one of the most iconic WWE Divas. The WWE Hall of Famer has always wanted to get back into the ring. However, she’s still a critical observer of WWE, and often comments on what she likes or not.

Bella gave an interview at Extra, where the former WWE Diva revealed that all she lately wanted to do is get back in the ring with Brie. She said that while she looks at other tag teams competing for the championships, that’s all she really wants.

I talked to Brie about this on the daily. I look at Tamina and I look at Natalya and I see them hold those tag team championships and there’s nothing more that I want than to come back for that. I truly hope that in the future I can come back in that ring and compete. Compete in front of my son! He would sit front row. It would be a dream. It’s not over for the Bella Twins. We will come back and make our mark.

Nikki Bella has been married with her Dancing With The Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev. Before her relationship with Artem, John Cena & Nikki Bella were together. While the former couple were set to get married before WrestleMania 33, they called it quits and inevitably broke up later. When Bella was asked why she wasn’t at SummerSlam, she said that she had a winning streak in Vegas.

You know, I actually have to say when you’re in Vegas, the tables took me away. I was too busy playing roulette, and I was winning big. So I missed it.

Nikki Bella wasn’t allowed to be part of SummerSlam, says one previous report. While Bella had her own separate plans for SummerSlam, it seems she couldn’t execute them. She recently reacted to John Cena saying he’s open to having children, as this was the basis of his and Nikki Bella’s break up.
