John Cena previously stated that he is very much open to working alongside The Rock in a Hollywood film. While when it will happen is anybody’s guess, there is no doubt it will be a huge hit.

However, Dave Bautista had recently stated that he has absolutely no intention of ever working with John Cena and The Rock in Hollywood. Bautista would then explain his reason why he doesn’t want to act in a movie with John Cena.

In the end, Bautista simply wanted to expand his horizons as an actor as he desired to portray a variety of roles in many films and hone his craft as an actor.

While speaking to Esquire, John Cena was asked about Bautista refusing to work with him. Cena stated that he is super sad about what Bautista said, but understands his reasoning.

“I’m super sad about that, because Dave Bautista is an unbelievably gifted actor. He’s done some amazing work. But I think when someone makes a statement like that, I think the important thing is to try and look at things from their perspective. He really just wants to be identified and recognized for his work. And I cannot fault him for that. I applaud him for it. To be brave enough to say something like that kind of allows him to go forth on his own and I appreciate that. I don’t have any beef with Dave and I genuinely think he doesn’t have beef with me,”

It was previously reported that John Cena will be appearing on an upcoming episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Cena also stated that he wants to contribute more to WWE once he returns from his hiatus, so we will have to wait and see when that will be.
