Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the all-time greats in the world of professional basketball. James suffered a very nasty injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March and despite making a return, James simply hasn’t been the same since the injury.
Despite all this, King James remains one of the richest NBA players of all time and for good reason and there are not many who can argue against his contributions to the sport.
Before playing for the Lakers and Miami Heat, LeBron James made a name for himself as part of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now it seems James broke a record recently.
According to Goldin Auctions, a very rare LeBron James Card from the 2003-03 exquisite collection has sold for a record-breaking $2,029,500.
Final Sale Price: $2,029,500 An all-time record for this card in any grade. @KingJames
This is also not the first time a rare card related to LeBron James was sold for a staggering amount of money and judging by how much collectors pay, it is unlikely to be the last as well.
