Kanye West is considered a genius when it comes to being a businessman and also as an artist. As a balance, he falls very short when it comes to releasing music on time. This was especially true for the release of his ‘Donda’ album.
For a long time fans were eagerly waiting for the release of Kanye West’s 10th studio album ‘Donda.’ West didn’t drop the album during his ‘Donda’ listening parties, which infuriated fans.
However, Kanye West finally dropped his ‘Donda’ album recently and fans and rappers alike were elated after waiting for so long. Now it seems West sought advice from a very popular NBA player.
According to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, Kanye West reached out to Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant as he sought Durant’s advice when it came to his ‘Donda’ album.
Among those who advised Kanye on what they liked and didn’t like about Donda when it was being put together:
Kevin Durant. “He’s a master at his craft,” KD said during the Olympics, talking about his experience listening to the then-still-in-progress album earlier this summer
The ‘Donda’ album is already making history and breaking records and that is unlikely to stop anytime soon as fans waited for a very long time for the album to drop.
