Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley clashed on August 29th in a boxing match on Showtime Boxing. Fans were eagerly waiting for the match and it even featured an interesting bet, as both of them agreed that the loser would get a post-match tattoo proclaiming their love of their opponent.
There was a lot of back and forth in the match as it was anyone’s game. Tyron Woodley got the best hit of the night as he rocked Jake Paul who could barely stand up after getting hit by his trademark overhand right.
In the end, Jake Paul won the boxing match via a split decision. Many fans were disappointed with this result as they wanted Jake Paul to get knocked out by Tyron Woodley.
While speaking during the post-fight press conference, Tyron Woodley was asked if he was going to get a ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattoo. Woodley stated that he’ll only get it once the rematch is confirmed and that he’ll get it on his thigh, so that Woodley doesn’t have to look at it.
“Sh*t, I don’t know, I need to see the paperwork on this rematch because I think that’s the game plan. To be honest, [Jake Paul] gave me his word, he hasn’t [been] wrong since, so I kinda gotta roll with him on that. He’s honored everything he said to me, since the beginning with this whole promotion thing so…sh*t I’ll probably get it to where I can’t fu***ing look at that b**ch.
Probably on my thigh or some sh*t, you thought I was gonna get it on my face cuz?…
It is to be noted that Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley seemingly agreed to a rematch after the fight but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. It remains to be seen if the match will be made official soon enough.
