Britney Spears Will Avoid Charges In Battery Case Against Her Housekeeper

After many years of mental harassment and anguish, Britney Spears spoke out against her father’s conservatorship back in June. Spears also previously stated that she is really looking forward to her conservatorship court date. She also squashed rumors of her being pregnant a while ago.

It was previously reported that Britney Spears doesn’t want to be scared to speak amid her conservatorship case. Britney Spears then addressed the drama of her conservatorship in a previous video.

As reported earlier, Britney Spears’ dogs were taken away from her, which led to a legal dispute between herself and her housekeeper. She got them back but then the assault case was handed over to prosecutors. Now it seems there is good news regarding that case.

According to Variety, Britney Spears avoided charges because The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office had “insufficient evidence lack of injury to the housekeeper or significant damage to the phone.”

“During the argument, Spears was alleged to have slapped a phone out of the housekeeper’s hand. The housekeeper indicated that the screen protector to the phone was damaged. The housekeeper had no visible injuries.”

This came on the heels of Britney Spears previously accusing her father of extorting $2 million from her. It remains to be seen whether Britney Spears will be out of her father’s clutches for good soon enough.
