For the last week, an ongoing beef between Kanye West and Drake became one of the main topics of discussion in the music world. This included the instance where Drake called out Kanye West in his new song.
It was only the beginning as West even took his beef with Drake to the next level by doxxing Drake’s home address. Drake did not pay heed to that and laughed it off.
Drake finally dropped his ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album and took a massive shot at Kanye West with his “7am On Bridle Path” song.
It seems that was just the beginning for Drake. Drake hosted a guest mix on SiriusXM’s Sound 42 radio show and then leaked an unreleased Kanye West and André 3000 song called “Life of the Party,” which was allegedly recorded for his ‘Donda’ album.
The song turned out to be a diss track towards Drake as Kanye mentioned Drake directly.
“I put Virgil and Drake on the same text and it wasn’t about the matching Arc’teryx or Kid Cudi dress/Just told these grown men stop it with the funny shit,” Kanye raps before adding, “Thought we was the new Abu Dhabi/Told Drake don’t play with me on GD and he sent that message to everybody/So if I hit you with a ‘WYD,’ you better hit me with, ‘Yessir, I’m writing everything you need.’”
Kanye West is likely to be infuriated with what Drake did and it remains to be seen what Kanye West will do in retaliation.
