Drake Smashes Single Day Streaming Record With ‘Certified Lover Boy’

Drake is a veteran musician and that is exactly why younger rappers such as Kodak Black want him as a mentor. He also has a lot of interests outside of making music. For a very long time now fans have been eagerly waiting for his upcoming album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ to drop.

It was previously reported that the album was almost complete and Drake made sure to inform fans that the album is cooked and ready to be delivered. On top of that, Drake also recently returned to the studio to finish up the album.

Finally, after months of anticipation, Drake dropped ‘Certified Lover Boy’ on September 3rd. It has taken over the Hip-Hop world as expected. The first 24 hours since its release were important as fans stayed up to listen to the album.

This resulted in millions of fans listening to Drake’s album and it became the biggest topic of discussion right now. It even featured Jay-Z and dissed Kanye West. As expected, Drake has broken several records.

Drake took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of an enormous billboard screen that says, “Certified Record Breaker. On 9/3/21 CLB became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day. Congrats, Drake.” We will have to wait and see just how successful the album will become.
