Angelina Jolie Admits Brad Pitt Continuing To Work With Harvey Weinstein Was Painful

Brad Pitt used to be married to Angelina Jolie and the two were known as Hollywood’s best couples. They even had an interesting place for their adult escapades. Unfortunately, the two would later split up and are now involved in a very messy divorce case.

It was previously stated that Bradd Pitt and Angelina Jolie will share responsibilities when it comes to raising their children due to a 50 50 child custody split.

Harvey Weinstein is certainly one of the most controversial film producers in the history of Hollywood. He was convicted of one count of third-degree rape and one count of criminal sexual assault in the first degree.

While speaking to The Guardian, Angelina Jolie admitted that “it hurt” hurt when Brad Pitt continue to work with Harvey Weinstein while they were still married. This is because Pitt was well aware of how Jolie felt about Weinstein.

Jolie added she first hated Weinstein back when she first worked with him for the 1998 film “Playing by Heart,” during which time Jolie claimed she “escaped” an alleged attempt of his to get her alone in a room, which she described as an assault itself.

Despite all this, Brad continued work with Weinstein in the 2000s as they teamed up, indirectly, to release “Inglourious Basterds.” Jolie further claimed that  Brad went against her wishes in approaching Weinstein to assist in making his 2012 movie, “Killing Them Softly,” which The Weinstein Company distributed as well.

 “We fought about it. Of course it hurt.”

Angelina Jolie also previously stated that she feared for her family while still being married to Brad Pitt. Jolie simply wants to be done with Brad Pitt for good and it is understandable why.
