Tom Brady is arguably one of the greatest football players in the history of the sport. He also isn’t afraid to speak his mind when it comes to NFL’s rules and regulations.
Back in February, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback earned his seventh NFL championship, which was a monumental achievement for Brady. He scored his first Super Bowl MVP title with the team and also his fifth total of all-time.
However, it seems not all was well with Tom Brady after his huge win during the Super Bowl from the looks of it.
While speaking to The Tampa Bay Times, Tom Brady confirmed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 later in February, after the Buccaneers celebrated their Super Bowl championship with a family-filled boat parade in the Hillsborough River.
“You guys beat COVID last year. It’s still around. You’ve had it?
[Tom Brady] “Yeah.”
Tom Brady gave a very short reply and didn’t elaborate further regarding his condition at the time after testing positive for COVID-19. Regardless, he is healthy now and has plenty left in the tank to compete for a couple more years.
