Kanye West’s DONDA came a year later than he had hoped for. Due to the global pandemic and other internal reasons, DONDA arrived late, and it’s twice the size of an album. With 27-songs, the album has already made records and defeated Drake’s Certified Lover Boy twice.
DONDA still came with its fair share of controversies for Kanye. While he dealt with accusations from Soulja Boy, Chris Brown and T-Pain, now he is in hot water again regarding the lyrics of his upcoming single, “Hurricane.”
The Weeknd & Lil Baby featurette, which includes West rapping about going out with other women while being with Kim Kardashian. According to a source for US Weekly, Kim Kardashian knew all too well what Kanye was putting into the album. The rapper included these lyrics in the song:
She wouldn’t be promoting something unless she knew all the lyrics. She wasn’t blindsided, but it is what it is. She’s known her whole marriage/life with Kanye that he’s an open book and there’s nothing she could ever do to stop him from saying whatever he wants. But she had a heads-up.
Kim Kardashian has been having a hard time dealing with other controversies as well. The model recently faced backlash after commenting on a model’s sexuality in 2018. She was also dragged by her fans for using a bag made out of animal skin and fans even suspect that she and Kanye are getting divorced for publicity.
