Former WWE Superstar Lio Rush didn’t leave the ring altogether when the company released him. He wrestled for other companies and teased his retirement from in-ring competition, but he never quit music.

Rush is now set to drop a full-length album soon. “Not Found” will come out on September 28th, and he released a hype video to let fans know about the upcoming project.

While explaining that music has always been a part of who he is, the video was intercut with various scenes from his career in the ring and in the studio. Rush has a lot of hype behind him still, and it’s not limited to just one endeavor.

Even AEW President Tony Khan recently said that his company is talking to Lio Rush about an in-ring return. We’ll have to see what is next for Lionel Green, but “Not There” could clear up a lot of questions once it is released later this month.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
