Tom Cruise is certainly one of the most iconic actors in the history of Hollywood. He has made a name for himself starring in the hit franchise Mission: Impossible, where Cruise portrays the role of Ethan Hunt. Cruise is also known to perform a lot of his own stunts while shooting the films, even at the risk of his own life.
Tom Cruise is currently busy filming Mission: Impossible 7 in the UK and for him to parachute into a field is definitely tamer than the other death-defying stunts he performed in the film.
Mission: Impossible 7 will feature Tom Cruise reprising his role of Ethan Hunt and he was recently filming scenes that showed him parachuting in the Lake District. Due to the numerous setbacks for the film due to COVID-19 and such, powerful anti-drone devices were brought in to keep the skies clear.
When Tom Cruise parachuted into an open field, he caused the cows there to topple over in confusion. According to The Sun, this happened because of the anti-drone devices emitting a high-frequency noise.
“A high-frequency noise was used to prevent drones flying near him during the parachute jumps but the tech was very strong and made an entire nearby field of cows fall over.
“Thankfully, they were OK once the scrambling device was switched off.”
Mission: Impossible 7 is set to release in September of next year, so there is still a year left until fans will get to see Tom Cruise in action again. We will have to wait and see how the film will turn out to be.
