Conor McGregor always manages to make headlines, for better or worse. After his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Conor McGregor continues to go on a downward spiral.
The Notorious One was present for MTV’s Video Music Awards and somehow he managed to make a scene as he got into a brief altercation with Machine Gun Kelly and almost came to blows with him.
Thankfully, security managed to pull McGregor back and the situation was deescalated. While speaking to Entertainment Tonight after the altercation, Conor McGregor was asked why he had an altercation with Machine Gun Kelly.
McGregor stated that nothing happened and claimed to not even know Machine Gun Kelly. He added that he doesn’t fight little vanilla boy rappers like Machine Gun Kelly.
“Absolutely nothing happened. I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy. Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”
Machine Gun Kelly himself refused to talk about the incident when he was asked about it as well. Regardless, it was an unfortunate incident at an otherwise memorable event.
