Drew McIntyre Still Determined To Face Tyson Fury

Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion. He also has a good relationship with Vince McMahon. McIntyre also has a hilarious reason for all the stories he tells.

WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is one of the best professional boxers in the world right now. For the past couple of years, Fury has been teasing a match against WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre, with Fury once stating that he is ready to face him ‘anytime’.

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre had previously mentioned that he will do whatever it takes to fight Tyson Fury. He even claimed that Fury stalked him with new messages every day.

While speaking to ITR Wrestling, Drew McIntyre talked about possibly facing off against Tyson Fury yet again. McIntyre revealed that there were talks about the two facing off in a pay-per-view in the UK, but the pandemic put a stop to that.

“I mean we’re going back and forth with each other (he and Tyson Fury), the idea’s out there, I mean I don’t want to go into too much details but it’s basically when the pandemic situation happened, it was a case of ‘put a pin in it for now, and come back to it later’, because something like that can ignite any second and the UK pay-per-view idea, that’s not something that’s ever going away for me, that’s happening one way or another and for me,”

Fans would certainly get behind seeing the two behemoths duke it out in a match somewhere down the line. We will have to see if WWE will be able to finalize a deal with Tyson Fury.
