Nicki Minaj recently made headlines after refusing to attend the Met Gala 2021. While she explained that it is because of her healthy skepticism of vaccines, there are more important things happening in her career.
Minaj is nearing a new beginning in her career. As she goes past the Queen-era, she is taking care of some key management problems. Minaj has parted ways with Irving Azoff, whose Full Stop Management boasts artists like Lizzo and Roddy Ricch on their roster.
Variety’s sources recently revealed that Minaj has parted ways from Azoff’s team. She has rather picked out another team for her management, which is Wassim “Sal” Slaiby headed SALXCO. The team has an even more impressive portfolio, managing artists like Doja Cat, The Weeknd and Diddy.
Minaj picked a curious choice for her management. She revealed recently that she tried to collaborate with Doja Cat, but after a while, Cat’s management stopped sending her songs for more choices. Given that Doja Cat & Nicki Minaj might end up under the same management, a collaboration might be the first thing they’ll do.
