Nicki Minaj Claims She Turned Down White House Invitation

Nicki Minaj’s achievements as one of the top female rappers in the Hip-Hop world speak for themselves. She can also make headlines for a variety of reasons, whenever Minaj chooses to do so.

The rapper recently tweeted a very controversial narrative when it came to COVID-19 vaccines that drew the ire of fans all over the world. This led to her being buried by the Minister of Health for Trinidad and Tobago. 

On top of that, Nicki Minaj claimed that she will never go back to Twitter after she was banned from the site due to her irresponsible remarks recently. Now it seems she made headlines once again.

Her remarks regarding the COVID-19 vaccines made their way to the White House. While speaking during an Instagram Live session, Nicki Minaj claimed that she turned down an invitation to go to the White House and speak with Dr. Fauci.

“We’d like to offer Nicki an invitation to come to the White House to speak with two people,” she said, before recalling that one person was Dr. Fauci and the other was the surgeon general. “You know what I said? I said, ‘Well, I would rather not have to travel, can we do something like a Live,’ and they said that they’re open to me choosing a platform to do a Live, but they never have taken that off the table for me to come to the White House.”

2021 is truly an unpredictable year and with still a few months left before it’s over, we wonder if Nicki Minaj will do something else that will make her up end in the news again.
