Dr. Dre Will Have To Pay $1.5 Million For Ex-Wife Nicole Young’s Lawyer Fees

Dr. Dre’s personal life became a mess after his wife Nicole Young filed for divorce after twenty-five years of marriage. As reported earlier, Nice Young is seeking $2 million per month in spousal support.

Nicole Young had earlier requested the court order the three alleged mistresses of Dr. Dre to sit for a deposition and be asked about Dr. Dre.

A breakthrough was reached a few months ago as Dr. Dre was officially divorced from Nicole Young. The ongoing divorce dispute still wages on and Dr. Dre was ordered to pay $300k a month in spousal support.

According to The Blast, a judge has also made a ruling for Nicole Young’s attorney fees and Dre will reportedly have to pay for it. The rapper was ordered by the courts to cover $1.5 million in Nicole’s lawyer fees and the documents, the judge explained in their decision.

“The attorney’s training and experience in family law. Ms. Samantha F. Spector and Lisa Helfend Meyer, certified family law specialists, have significant years of experience in family law and have extensive practical experience in complex family law matters. Considering the level of the case’s complexity, and the issues involved, an attorney of their level and skill is reasonably necessary; and therefore, the various hourly rates of the primary and secondary attorneys participating in this litigation are reasonable and justifiable.

Considering what is just and reasonable and using the Court’s own experience and knowledge that the payee’s reasonable fees are $3,000,000.00 and costs are $550,000.00.”

It was further reported that if the two cannot settle the dispute soon enough, then it will result in Dr. Dre having to pay more money out of his pocket. We will keep you updated on this ongoing case.
