‘Friday’ Star Anthony Johnson’s Wife Asking Fans To Help With Funeral Costs

‘Friday’ Star Anthony Johnson passed away this month and left a gaping hole in the heart of family and fans alike. Now it seems his family is having difficulty procuring funds for the funeral.

While speaking to TMZ, Johnson’s wife Lexis Jones Mason stated that she and her family only got lots of “fake love” after her husband’s shocking demise earlier this month.

Lexi explains how the Johnson family has started a GoFundMe, but have not reached their goal of $20k goal for his funeral expenses, as they have only reached a meagre $800.

Lexi added that people would rather lend emotional support instead of actually giving them financial help, which she sorely needs. She added that she doesn’t want handouts, just the bare minimum to ensure Anthony gets a proper funeral.

If she doesn’t reach the intended goal, Lexi revealed that she will cremate her husband and then get back to work in order to cover that on her own. We certainly hope people will be able to donate more money and help Anthony Johnson get the funeral he deserves.
