Pro dancer Jenna Johnson, who is currently appearing on the 30th season of “Dancing With the Stars,” had to take a break from rehearsals.
Johnson explained that she sustained a knee injury during her routine with JoJo Siwa at the show’s Monday premiere. Johnson said that while she had anticipated injuries, she did not expect it to happen so early.
I should have known that there was going to be a flaw in the system, but no one had ever done this before. I slipped on JoJo’s dress, and both my feet actually came out from under me. While I was in that process of trying to squeeze and not fall … my knee kind of tweaked, kind of slipped out of place, came back in.
However, Johnson reassured her fans that she will not be missing out on the second week of the show. She has taken a day off to recover, and has also been doing therapy. Zolpidem/ Johnson says she feels fine.
Johnson has also expressed appreciation for her partner JoJo Siwa’s caring attitude, saying that Siwa FaceTimed her twice to check in on her. Johnson also called Siwa the “sweetest human in the world.”
