Conor McGregor remains one of the most well known MMA fighters in the history of combat sports and his accolades over the years speak for themselves. The Notorious is also known to trash talk often, with varied results.
While Conor McGregor has backed up his trash talks in the past, more often than not, they have also resulted in embarrassing defeats for him. McGregor also doesn’t hold any title in the UFC.
Earlier this year, Conor McGregor topped Forbes Magazine’s list of the top-10 highest-paid athletes in 2021 as he had earned a total of $180 million over the last 12 months.
Conor McGregor took to his Instagram and shared a screenshot of this year’s Forbes list of The World’s Highest-Paid Athletes and wondered what he would look like at 180 lbs, hinting at moving to the welterweight division.
“170lb weight division is nice for me. Look at the fullness here on the scale in 2020. I Wonder what 180lbs would look like for me in this day and age jacked to the teeth 2021. Match my years take. $180m. Twelve months. Number 1, 2021.”
We will have to wait and see what shape Conor McGregor will be in once he returns to the Octagon as McGregor is expected to be out of action for a year as he is determined to make a triumphant comeback.
