Michael Jordan is one of the greatest pro basketball players to ever live, but he isn’t immune to family drama. MJ’s son found himself in a tight situation with authorities.
According to TMZ, Jordan’s son Jeffrey is accused of assaulting staff at an Arizona hospital on Friday night. He was there at the time being treated for an injury he sustained at a bar.
Jeffrey Jordan was at Casa Amigos bar in Scottsdale when police say he “fell and hit his head,” Jordan then became combative with security who were trying to help him out of the bar to get his head looked at.
Police were already in the area for something else and they showed up to assist. Then police interviewed bar staff and deemed the incident “medical in nature.” It wasn’t a criminal situation, so they jut called an ambulance for Jordan.
After he arrived at the hospital, Jordan is accused of assaulting staff while they were trying to treat him. A report for aggravated assault, a felony, was taken at the hospital.
As for Jeffrey’s side, our sources tell us he was confused and disoriented following the fall.
Jordan is still in the hospital and has not been charged with any crime. Police say that the relevant reports will be sent to the Prosecutors office where they will determine if charges should be pressed.
