Nicholas Cage certainly needs no introduction as far as his contributions to the world of cinema are concerned. He is also known for his bizarre habits which are reflected in his lifestyle.

He was certainly one of the richest actors in Hollywood, but a series of questionable purchases ensured that Nicholas Cage would end up getting broke after squandering his $150 million fortune.

Cage bought a dinosaur skull, which he was said to have outbid Leonardo DiCaprio for as he spent watering $300,000 for the ancient item. That wasn’t all as he also spent $7 million in purchasing a 40-acre island south of Nassau.

In fact, at one point he even owned 15 residences simultaneously, which included a $25 million waterfront home in Newport Beach, California. He even purchased a couple of European castles. Cage bought an 11th-century Bavarian castle in Etzelwang, Germany, for $8 million, as well as a castle in Bath, England, that cost the same amount.

He also spent a ton of money on luxurious cars, yachts and even a private jet. Back in 2006, he purchased a haunted house for $3.45 million, which belonged to serial killer Madame Delphine LaLaurie. He even bought a nine-foot-tall pyramid-shaped tombstone in the oldest cemetery in New Orleans. We certainly hope Cage will learn how to spend his money better in the future.
