Lil Baby is currently one of the most established rappers in the Hip-Hop World who is most certainly in demand by fans. The Hip-Hop World as a whole has become more prevalent in pop culture and mainstream media, with its rise in popularity. He also claimed to be worth a lot of money.
Last week, Lil Baby bought what he believed was a rare 40th anniversary Patek Phillipe watch worth $400k from the resale market. However, it was then revealed that he was scammed.
Lil Baby warned people of getting scammed after what happened to him. After that, now it seems the rapper decided to specifically target one particular jeweler for selling him fake pieces.
While speaking to TMZ, the rapper’s celebrity jeweler Gabriel Jacobs from Rafaello & Co revealed that he is going to hire a professional watch authenticator who will inspect all the watches he sells in order to avoid another fake watch fiasco as it happened with Lil Baby.
It was also said that any person who has purchased jewelry from him can return and have it authenticated to assure them the jewelry is not fake and that Jacobs has no problem with the same.
Rafaello & Co. issued a lengthy apology, refunded the money and gifted the rapper 4 diamond rings. Jacobs made sure to do better and it seems he is trying to stick to his word. Jacobs insisted that it was nothing more than a simple mistake and will never try to dupe Lil Baby for a mere $400k.
