Gospel singer Kelly Price recently made headlines after she was reported missing by Georgia police while she was still battling with COVID-19.
Now it seems Kelly Price decided to open up about her brutal battle with the virus. While speaking to TMZ, Price revealed that she did not actually go missing which her family insisted that she was. Price simply isolated herself while trying to recover from the virus.
She was hospitalized due to COVID-19 and at one point, she was even declared medically dead.
“I died. At some point they lost me. I woke up a couple of days and the first thing I remember was the doctors standing around me asking If i knew what year it was. Going into the hospital, I actually had COVID for over a week but my conditions were progressing in the wrong direction from home.
Kelly Price became healthy enough that she was discharged from the hospital but is still suffering from lingering effects of COVID-19.
”I have what is called long COVID and I am facing a very uphill battle right now. I suffered a lot of internal damage so I have a lot of rehabbing to do before I am able to be concert-ready again.”
We certainly hope Kelly Price makes a full recovery as soon as possible as she has been suffering since July of this year.
