Earlier this year, legendary singer Dolly Parton has made headlines for all the right reasons as she made good use of her wealth and encouraged people to get the COVID-19 vaccine as Parton did.
She also recently joined TikTok as she launched her account @ItsDollyParton on Sunday night, with the handle getting over 680,000 followers.
Why hello, I guess I’m on TikTok! I just dropped in to say that it will be okay,” said Dolly in her short video, before singing.“If I can do it, so can you … I believe in you
However, the account was banned in less than a day from TikTok and this simply left many fans confused. TikTok advised: “This account was banned due to multiple Community Guidelines violations.”
WHY WAS DOLLY PARTON BANNED FROM TIKTOK?
The number of trolls I’ve (and other creators) have reported on TikTok and somehow they choose to ban the pride of America, Dolly Parton.
Dolly Parton joined TikTok and then was banned immediately.”
However, it was then discovered that the banned account was actually a fake one to begin with. A user on the site had shared a clip of Dolly which she filmed for her charity in 2020, with the post appearing to come direct from Dolly herself.
Dolly Parton has 4.4 million Instagram admirers and 5.2 million Twitter followers. It remains to be seen if she will ever join TikTok or not.
