Kurt Angle Was Willing To Fight Brock Lesnar In UFC

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him a role. Angle also revealed the exorbitant amount of money he’d need to wrestle one more match.

Kurt Angle had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches as he faced off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer.

This included his numerous instant classic matches against Brock Lesnar. While speaking during the Kurt Angle Show podcast on AdFreeShows, Kurt Angle talked about possibly facing off against Brock Lesnar in the UFC.

Angle stated that he would have been willing to fight Lesnar inside the octagon despite being great friends.

“I would not want to fight Brock out of respect for him and the friendship we had. But if the money were right, I know he would want to fight me and I know I would want to fight him too. It is all about money. Sometimes it kind of sucks, you can’t take that personally because you’re trying to provide money to take care of them. That comes first before friendship, so I’m sure Brock and I, if they would’ve gave us the right figure, we probably would’ve went at it.”

Brock Lesnar had a tremendous run in the UFC and we certainly wonder who would have won, had Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar competed against each other in the UFC.
