Akon Says R. Kelly Needs To Reconsider His Life After Guilty Verdict

R. Kelly is one of the most hated R&B stars currently, especially after the verdict which came out against him. While one of Kelly’s victims said that he coached her every day before her 2019 interview, Bill Cosby started trending on Twitter after he said that Kelly got “railroaded” with the verdict.

Kelly has no support after his guilty verdict. However, there is one unlikely ally who is still vouching for him, and it is Akon. (Diazepam) TMZ found Akon at LAX and asked for his opinion about the R. Kelly case.

Akon said that while Kelly still has 10 years worth of time to spend in prison, he can make the right choices yet to make the best of what he has. Kelly was convicted for severe charges such as “sex crimes, kidnapping, human trafficking, racketeering and obstruction of justice.” Akon said that Kelly needs to reflect deeply over his choices and talk to God.

R. Kelly just released a statement after the verdict against him came out. Kelly still has a bunch more federal trials to go through, and after his verdict, even legendary popstar Elvis Presley was called out.
