Britney Spears’ Bother Refuses To Comment On Her Conservatorship Case

Britney Spears recently scored a landmark win in her battle for autonomy. Judge Brenda Penny suspended the pop icon’s father Jamie Spears from the legal arrangement of her conservatorship.

What this means for Britney is that she has finally won back the freedom to make her own decisions. Shortly after the ruling, paparazzi cornered the pop star’s brother, Bryan and his girlfriend, Amber Lynn Conklin on Wednesday.

When a photographer asked how he felt about his father being removed from Britney’s conservatorship, Bryan declined to comment and continued walking to avoid further questions.

Upon being asked about Britney’s engagement to Sam Asghari, Amber answered for her boyfriend that he’s very happy for her. Bryan too hastily concurred that they’re always happy for Britney.

Until last year, Bryan seemed to be in support of his father Jamie and the conservatorship, saying that “obviously there was a need for it in the beginning.” Bryan had also described the conservatorship as “a great thing for [their] family.”

The final fate of the conservatorship will be decided during a hearing scheduled for the 12th of November, in which a judge will decide whether the conservatorship will be terminated for good.
