The Batman starring Robert Pattinson will be the actor’s first venture as the Caped Crusader and is set to be a completely different take on Batman than shown in previous franchises.
Pattinson’s reveal was met with a lot of mixed reactions from fans, as many doubted Pattinson could do the Caped Crusader justice. Pattinson also made it clear he was afraid of offending Batman fans.
While speaking with reporters on the red carpet for the Academy Museum’s opening party, Robert Pattinson revealed he thought it was crazy that he is portraying Batman.
“I mean, it’s a strange feeling. I [had] moments when I was shooting when you just catch a glimpse of yourself in a reflection and you’d be like, ‘Wait, am I actually doing this? This is crazy!’ But it’s been really fun and it’s really exciting so far.”
The film is set to release on March 4, 2022. We will have to see how the film turns out to be and if it will be able to live up to fan expectations.
