Akon In Hot Water After Recent Remarks On R. Kelly’s Guilty Verdict

Disgraced rapper R. Kelly is currently rotting in prison n a separate federal indictment that includes child pornography, sexual exploitation of children and conspiracy to defraud the U.S. Government. He has been labelled as a predator and even tried to have charges against him dropped.

Recently the rapper’s first male accuser came forward with his experience with R. Kelly. The rapper was also accused of forcing his victims to stay in a ‘twilight zone’ of control.

As reported earlier, R. Kelly was found guilty on all counts in his federal trial. The disgraced rapper hasn’t yet been sentenced for those 9 counts of sex crimes. Even his victims spoke out in relief after the guilty verdict.

Akon recently stated that R. Kelly needs to reconsider his life after his guilty verdict. He also called R. Kelly’s alleged crimes as mistakes and it seems his comments have drawn the ire of fans as they took to Twitter and blasted Akon.

Somebody tell Akon that being a serial rapist is not a MISTAKE . This R.Kelly shit is bringing true colors out of ppl.

Is he serious? He’s acting like R Kelly stepped on someone’s foot and forgot to say I’m sorry. This man is beyond redeeming himself. He had over 20 years to do that he chose not to. Akon needs to shut up.

Perhaps Akon should have worded himself better from the looks of it. Regardless, R. Kelly is likely to be behind bars for a very long time and we wonder if he will be given a maximum life sentence in the end.
