“Venom: Let There Be Carnage” has followed in the tradition of Marvel movies including post-credits scenes. The post-credits scene in the Tom Hardy starrer has some incredible implications!
In the post-credits scene, it seems that Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock has been transported from his universe to the MCU. There are several easter eggs pointing to this implication.
In the scene, Eddie is seen in a dive motel room, which transforms into a much nicer place. During this transformation, the room can be seen glitching in the way “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” portrayed the shifting of universes.
However, the highlight of the scene is the footage of J.K. Simmons’ J. Jonah Jameson reporting about Spider-Man. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is also briefly visible.
While there hasn’t been any official news from Sony, Tom Hardy has spoken quite openly about his desire to continue the story of Venom, especially if it involves Spider-Man.
Fans are already speculating that Spider-Man and Venom might appear together in the upcoming “Spider-Man: No Way Home” movie as a result of Spider-Man and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange’s action. It seems Tom Hardy’s wish might be coming true after all!
