Kanye West is considered a genius when it comes to being a businessman and also as an artist. As a balance, he falls very short when it comes to releasing music on time. This was especially true for the release of his ‘Donda’ album.
Kanye West finally dropped his ‘Donda’ album in August and fans and rappers alike were elated after waiting for so long. It also became a huge success sales-wise on top of that.
According to TMZ, Kanye West’s company has filed a trademark application on September 21 to give the name ‘Donda’ to a series of tech line products. This includes tablet computers, audio speakers and surround sound systems.
West seemingly took inspiration from Steve Jobs as he also wants to emboss “Donda” on wearable computers in the nature of smartwatches, smart glasses, wearable activity trackers and protective flip covers for tablet computers.
He also put the name on earbuds, headphones, wireless headsets for tablet computers and wireless headsets for mobile phones. From the looks of it, Kanye West wants “Donda” on downloadable electronic publications in the nature of books, magazines, journals, brochures, leaflets, pamphlets and newsletters all in the field of music and entertainment news.
Last month Kanye West also planned on starting his own line of homeware products. It seems Kanye West is more than determined to establish himself as a mogul and his homeware line might just be the first step in him achieving that goal.
