Akon Doubles Down On Claim That Rich People Have More Issues Than Poor People

Akon remains one of the most established singers in the music industry right now, whose songs have defined the last decade or so. However, he isn’t without his fair share of controversies.

Akon recently stated that R. Kelly needs to reconsider his life after his guilty verdict. He also called R. Kelly’s alleged crimes as mistakes and got blasted for what he said.

Last month Akon stated that rich people have more issues than poor people in light of of Michael K Williams’ passing.

While speaking to TMZ, Akon was asked about his insensitive remarks but he was unapologetic about the same, doubling down on rich people having it harder than poor people.

Akon used his own personal experience as an example as he stated that he was happier when he wasn’t rich to explain his point. Despite this, it is highly unlikely people will care about what Akon explained.
