Lady Gaga is certainly one of the most recognizable singers in the music industry right now and also has acting gigs and has cemented herself in the pop culture of the world.
She is also the queen of style and has pulled off a variety of bizarre styles over the years. Lady Gaga also had the honor of walking out Tony Bennett during his final performance before retirement on August 12.
The moment was filmed as part of 60 Minutes profile on Tony, which aired on Sunday, October 3. With tears in her eyes, while speaking to Bennett, she gave a lot of praise to the legendary Tony Bennett.
“You were so amazing. The public loved it. You were spectacular.”
While speaking during an interview after the backstage interaction, Lady Gaga revealed what she told Tony Bennett.
“The last thing that I said to Tony onstage was ‘Mr. Bennett, it would be my honor if I could escort you off the stage,’ and he said, ‘Okay,’ and I did. Just simply being the woman that got to walk him offstage, that’s enough for me
It was truly a magical moment for not just Lady Gaga, but everyone involved throughout the performance. Fans will certainly never forget it for the rest of their lives and neither will Lady Gaga.
