It has been over a year since Joe Exotic became a viral sensation and well-known name after Nextflix’s “Tiger King’ blew up during the pandemic. Carole Baskin also became a star thanks to the show but that doesn’t mean she wants to have anything to do with the show again.
The second series of Netflix’s hit show will be releasing in November, but Carole Baskin made sure to mince no words when it came to her opinion of the show, as she called it a ‘dumpster fire.’
While speaking to The Mirror, Carole Baskin talked about her feelings when it comes to the first season and then revealed that she has banned producers from using any footage of her in the second season of the show.
She also admitted that she will be watching the second season simply because she expects to be criticized for it.
“I’ll have to watch it because I expect that they’re gonna be just as hateful in Tiger King 2 as they are in Tiger King 1. And the reason that I expect that is because i know some of the people that they have been filming.
They don’t have any of my permission to use any of the footage they shot in the original filming for this Tiger King 2, so I’m hoping not to see any footage of me in Tiger King 2 because of that fact.
When we signed the release form it was for a documentary, I don’t think what they did was a documentary. I think it was a reality show that wasn’t very real. But then, I don’t think that gave them carte blanche to continue trash talking me for as long as they want to keep coming up with these type of shows. I’m really hoping that they choose to take the road to not include me at all in Tiger King 2.”
Tiger King 2 will likely draw a lot of interest from fans who want more of that unique story and there is nothing Carole Baskin can do about it.
