Dave Chappelle Says DaBaby’s Controversial Rant Was Worse Than Murder

DaBaby sparked a ton of controversy at Rolling Loud when he popped off on the microphone in a homophobic rant that cost him a lot of work. If you ask Dave Chappelle, DaBaby committed a pretty terrible offense that exceeds murder with those words.

The comedian’s “The Closer” special is out now on Netflix and he had something to say about DaBaby during his 6th Netflix special. The new stand-up special includes Dave making big jokes about DaBaby right from the jump.

DaBaby’s homophobic rant was put on full display as the Half Baked actor said that what DaBaby said was worse than murder. As it turns out, DaBaby was wrapped up in an actual murder investigation over a shooting a number of years ago.

That Walmart shooting in North Carolina didn’t stick to DaBaby, but those words he said at Rolling Loud certainly did. The crowd also seemed to get exactly where Chappelle was coming from.

Dave Chappelle made a point to say that he isn’t popping off with words to be mean, he’s saying them because it’s funny. Sometimes mean is funny, and in this case Chappelle was making a pretty bold point.
