Idris Elba is certainly one of the most recognizable stars in all of Hollywood. He has a long list of great films and also tv series.
Daniel Craig made a name for himself for portraying the role of James Bond in the long-running franchise featuring the world’s most famous spy. Craig began his Bond journey with Casino Royale and will end it with No Time To Die this year.
With Craig stepping down as James Bond, many fans wonder who will end up replacing him.
It was previously reported that Eon Productions, who have been responsible for producing the main branch of the 007 film franchise, aren’t in a hurry to find a replacement for Daniel Craig.
While speaking to ITV London, Idris Elba was asked if he was going to be portraying the role of James Bond as many people want him to. Elba made it clear he won’t be James Bond.
“No I’m not going to be James Bond.”
It remains to be seen just who will take on the role of James Bond from Daniel Craig as there are certainly many worthy candidates.
