Jeffrey Wright Raises High Hopes For Robert Pattinson’s Batman

The Batman starring Robert Pattinson will be the actor’s first venture as the Caped Crusader and is set to be a completely different take on Batman than shown in previous franchises.

Pattinson’s reveal was met with a lot of mixed reactions from fans, as many doubted Pattinson could do the Caped Crusader justice. Pattinson also made it clear he was afraid of offending Batman fans.

Robert Pattinson recently stated that it’s crazy that he’s portraying the role of the Caped Crusader to begin with, and is certainly enjoying his role.

While speaking with ET, Jeffrey Wright, who portrays the role of James Gordon in the film, talked bout Robert Pattinson’s Batman character and stated that it will be ‘pretty badass.’

Robert is gonna do his thing, and we were working within a Matt Reeves vision, so you know, Robert is doing what Robert does and it’s gonna be pretty badass I think. […] I loved working with him, I love his take and his energy and the way that he kind of brought different levels to different parts of the story. And we work off of one another.
