LEGO unveiled their latest adult-set and it’s based on the iron giant with a tragic history, The Titanic. LEGO’s adult-sets include a varied range of subjects such as James Bond‘s Aston Martin DB5, LEGO Super Heroes The SHIELD Helicarrier 76042 and even Star Wars‘ Imperial Star Destroyer.
The RMS Titanic remains a significant cultural artifact. It was an ambitious ship, one of the largest to have ever existed. The ship embarked upon a journey on the British sees, but collapsed and sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in 1912 after failing to steer clear of an iceberg.
Titanic LEGO adult-set is extremely special because it is also a grand-scaled project. It consists of a mind-boggling 9,090 pieces. It is sized at 135 centimeters (53 inches).
This might seem like the perfect gift for any Titanic fan, but the $629.99 price tag is enough to turn around even the most rabid Leo fan.
LEGO has been working on many ambitious projects alongside the lines of the Titanic set. While most of their adult sets are still based on either car models, superhero merch or pop-culture references, LEGO has started to reinvent itself beginning the Titanic set.
