Tampa Bay was able to defeat the New England Patriots last Sunday, but they did so without their star tight end Rob Gronkowski. It appears that they will have to do it again without Gronk this week.

Rob Gronkowski is out of action with broken ribs and a punctured lung. Safety Anotoine Winfield Jr. and defensive end Patrick O’Connor are also out of action. Sadly, the squad will have to carry on without them.

The Athletic’s Greg Auman tweeted out to confirm that Gronk, Winfield, and O’Connor will all miss this Sunday’s big game for the Buccaneers.

Bruce Arians says Gronk, Winfield and O’Connor will be out Sunday.

Grokowski openly said that his condition is “week-by-week,” and it appears that he will not be good to go by this weekend’s game. That is a shame, but it’s better to play it safe than sorry in this instance, especially if a punctured lung is at play.
