Mark Cuban is a man who gets a lot of attention because of his opinion. He appeared on College Game Day and gave his picks. While explaining his favorites to win the day’s big games, Cuban let something slip about how he feels about the Bluegrass State.
While picking teams to win, Cuban said “I hate the Wildcats.” That caused an immediate reaction on Twitter. You can’t just say you hate something under your breath on national television and expect nobody to hear it.
“Im completely out of the loop here but why does Mark Cuban hate Kentucky so much? He literally said ‘I hate the Wildcats,'” one Twitter user tweeted out. Others reacted in the same way.
Cuban’s name trended on Twitter, and a majority of tweets for a while consisted of questions about Kentucky and Cuban’s apparent beef. Host of KSR and co-owner of OVW Wrestling School, Matt Jones, tweeted out a video of Mark Cuban’s admission along with a short summary.
Everyone picks Kentucky but Desmond Howard
Although Mark Cuban says he hates Kentucky
Kentucky is a commonwealth state, and that doesn’t seem like that big of a deal, but we suggest you do a search in the Google machine if you’d like to know the big differences. You never know if Mark Cuban might have some checkered past in KY, but he certainly doesn’t bleed blue.
To be fair, Cuban was in the heat of the moment. He might not really hate any state, but it really got Twitter going for a minute.
