Disgraced TV icon Bill Cosby needs no introductions as he became one of the most controversial and hated figures in history after he was accused of drugging and assaulting more than 60 women in the past few decades. He was also released from prison back in June after his conviction was overturned due to a technicality. The Comedy Cellar still doesn’t want to have anything to do with him.
One of Cosby’s accusers, Andrea Constand, recently spoke about him being freed from prison and revealed that she was shocked and disappointed at the turn of events.
Rapper R. Kelly was found guilty on all counts in his federal trial as well. Bill Cosby was also alleged to have said that R. Kelly was railroaded, which resulted in him trending on social media.
Faith Rodgers, one of the many women who testified against R. Kelly, dated the rapper for a year, beginning the relationship when she was 19-years-old.
While speaking during a press conference with her attorney Gloria Allred, Rodgers blasted Bill Cosby and his publicist for his railroaded comments.
To me, that is beyond insulting. After meeting R.Kelly when I was 19 years old, for that year and a half, he manipulated me for his own enjoyment and sexually abused me and tried to control me. When I made the choice to come forward with my story, he threatened me on multiple occasions, that if I continued to go forward with the telling of my truth, he would publish nude videos and pictures of me.
Despite the threats, I continued to tell what happened to me and as a result, R. Kelly retaliated against me and published those photos,” she claimed. “Even though he did this, I refused to back down and I still testified at trial. Rr. Kelly did receive a fair trial and he was convicted based on facts. He was not railroaded.”
R. Kelly is likely to be behind bars for a very long time and we wonder if he will be given a maximum life sentence in the end.
