Jamie Lynn Spears and her siblings have a lot to celebrate for. With Britney Spears getting her freedom back as her father filed for the conservatorship being absolved, Jamie Lynn is also rolling out her biography.
Lynn Spears’ biography, previously titled “I Must Confess,” had to be changed due to Spears’ fans raising controversy. “I Must Confess” was a reference Britney Spears’ 1998 single “…Baby One More Time.” Lynn took to Instagram in order to reveal that the new working title is “Things I Should Have Said,” which is due a January 18, 2022 release.
Page Six reported back in July that the title was a way for Jamie Lynn to give a tribute to her 39-year old sister. However, after substantial opposition from fans, the publisher pulled a switcheroo and gave the statement:
We deeply regret that incorrect and incomplete information about her book has appeared in the public space, particularly at this sensitive time for Jamie Lynn and her family.
Jamie Lynn’s relationship with her sister has been rather problematic ever since Britney spoke about issuing a lawsuit against her sister. While the memoir is a great gesture on her part, the controversy shows that the former Nickelodeon star doesn’t have the favors from Britney’s fans.
